Mark McCoin
Mark is a sound-designer and multi instrumentalist extraordinaire.
He has a collection of instruments that could launch a museum !
On these albums Mark plays various exotic and unusual percussion
instruments including a clay urn ( Yogitar- Song of the Sun)that was being
thrown away by an Art Gallery!
Mark was involved with the Colorado Contemporary Music Association. He
also produces multimedia performances and Sound installations, including
the award winning “Music in Motion” and “Circadia”. He also co-produced
the award winning weekly public radio show, “Terra Infirma” and was one
of the founders and musical director of Gamelan Tunas Mekar, a Balinese
music orchestra.
Currently, McCoin owns “Brave New Audio”, a recording and production
studio, where he composes and produces music for CD,
Television (Animal Planet), animation, dance, film, installations,
And for no reason at all.
